Contracts Administrator Location Fort Novosel, AL Job Posting No 112503 Start Date TBD Contract FT Novosel AMS Salary Range DOE Posting Date 9/4/24 Union No FLSA Status Exempt Shift Work Possible FT/PT Full-time Relocation No Travel Possible M1 is recruiting for an Contracts Administrator with the following knowledge and experience * Provides contractual, business, procurement and subcontracting services on the FT Novosel Aviation Maintenance Services contract IAW the PWS, FAR, and company policies. * Applies knowledge of PWS, FAR, and company policies towards routine operations, negotiating, and proposals. * Research, analyze and resolve contractual issues. * Support contract/subcontract monitoring and compliance. * Assist the Program Management team with consideration packages, waiver requests and responses to nonconformance. * Maintain original contracts and modifications and ensure contract modification data is disseminated timely. * Prepare formal Contracting Officer communications. * Support the proposal review process in the following manner: o Review RFP's to identify questions. o Support proposal reviews as required. o Issue RFQ's and coordinate timely submission of data to pricing. o Develop draft subcontracts based upon company templates and prime RFP requirements. o Support cost proposal preparation and review. * Develop a thorough understanding of the Service Contract Act (SCA) as it applies to both union and non-union SCA covered employees. * Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease cycle time and streamline workflow processes. * Ensures compliance with directives, technical manuals, work standards, safety procedures, and company policies relating to contract/business operations. * Performs ancillary duties as assigned. Additional requirements: * Five years of DoD and other Government service contracts or subcontracts experience. * B.S. Degree in Business Administration or equivalent required Comprehensive knowledge of U.S. Government acquisition regulations is required. * Air Force Aviation Maintenance Contract experience preferred * Must possess strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. * Able to obtain/maintain security clearance as required by Performance Work Statement. * Comprehensive understanding of maintenance and quality control procedures in an Army or Air Force aviation environment. * Must be proficient in MS Office. * Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English. * Must be reliable, self-motivated, and able to deal with stressful situations and timelines while maintaining a professional and non-confrontational attitude.
