The Position

The Opportunity:

This position is part of Genentech's exciting iNeST program. iNeST (individualized Neoantigen Specific Therapy) program is an RNA-based cancer therapy targeting neoantigens manufactured on a per-patient basis. In this role, you will be responsible for performing facility cleaning under the supervision of (Facility Coordinator).

As a Facilities Cleaning Technician, you will:

  • Coordinate work schedules and assignments with Supervisors.

  • Ensure compliance with procedures and master SAP for work orders following strict safety protocols and procedures

  • Communicate nightly site activities to Managers and maintain professional standards.

  • Manage GMP supplies inventory and resolve issues promptly.

  • Perform comprehensive cleaning and maintenance of GMP areas which include:ceilings, walls, floors, drains, stainless steel, windows, and ledges.

  • Collect and dispose of non-biological waste and recyclable materials throughout the GMP areas.

  • Maintain floors (epoxy, Concrete, rubber tile, and sheet vinyl) by sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing surfaces. Vacuuming/dusting of vents within the GMP areas.

Who you are:

  • You have a High School diploma or equivalent with at least 1-2 years of work experience in cleaning GMP-controlled areas/spaces

  • You have experience using equipment such as floor scrubbers, scissor lifts, and manual pallet jacks.

  • You demonstrated the ability to apply experience and hands-on investigating deficiencies.

  • You can lift and carry equipment and supplies such as boxes of paper, mop buckets, and furniture weighing up to 25 pounds

  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and can effectively read and follow procedures.

  • You will have basic computer knowledge and be able to complete paperwork accurately.

  • You can work safely around chemicals and equipment and handle repetitive tasks efficiently.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Oregon is $28,000-$52,000. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
