Job Duties |
The East Carolina University College of Nursing is currently seeking applications for a full-time faculty position with strong expertise in pediatric nursing. Faculty responsibilities include planning, teaching, and evaluating primarily face-to-face theory, lab, and clinical courses. This faculty position will be accountable for teaching courses related to pediatric nursing as well as basic and advanced foundations lab content for pre-licensure nursing students. The position may also involve direct supervision of students in the clinical setting. |
Minimum Education/Experience |
Non-tenure requires a Master's degree from an appropriately accredited institution in nursing. A valid non-restricted North Carolina nursing license is required upon employment. Two years of clinical nursing experience is required. |

Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education |
A PhD in Nursing or a closely related discipline with a graduate degree in nursing or a
MSN in Nursing Education is preferred. Preference will be given to applicants with recent clinical and teaching experience. Teaching experience and national specialty certification is preferred. |
