ECU
CON has over 500 graduate students including over 100
DNP and 35 PhD students. The College of Nursing is a part of the Academic Affairs Division which includes Allied Health, Dental Science, and a School of Medicine committed to excellence in teaching and scientific inquiry. Additionally, strong interprofessional research opportunities exist in varied centers and institutes within the division and University, such as the Center for Health Disparities, North Carolina Agro-Medicine Institute, and Diabetes and Obesity Institute. |
Job Duties |
The Concentration Coordinator is directly responsible to the Department of Advanced Nursing Practice and Education Chair of the College of Nursing. The concentration coordinator is responsible for the planning, coordination, and implementation of program activities and student management.
Supports the planning and implementation of programming, events, and student management.
Tracks and organizes program files to ensure deliverables are met and properly logged for reporting needs to funding agencies, accreditation bodies, or inter-organizational needs.
Supports the concentration director or department chair in coordinating student interviews, monitoring programs of study, clinical contracts, and collecting data to monitor and evaluate program effectiveness.
Contingent up availability of funds. |
Minimum Education/Experience |
Master's degree, or a Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant experience. Demonstrated success in program and project coordination. Effective communication skills. |
License or Certification Required by Statute or Regulation |

Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education |
Experience in a role coordinating program activities. Solid knowledge base in computer technology relative to nursing education. |
