Summary:

The Jr. Maintenance Developer will support the U.S. Coast Guard's Surface Forces Logistics Center's Electronics/Ordnance Branch in performing Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) analysis and Maintenance Procedure Card (MPC) development.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following:



  • Complete Reliability Centered Maintenance analysis.
  • Develop Maintenance Requirement Lists, Lists of Effective Pages and Maintenance Index Pages.
  • Develop Electronics Maintenance Procedure Cards ready for publication.
  • Support the CG-22 process.
  • Attend meetings and conferences.


Supervisory/Management Authority:



  • None.


Education and/or Experience:



  • Minimum education is H.S. Diploma.
  • Must have at least 4 years of CG Electronics or DoD Electronics Maintenance development experience


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:



  • Hold a current RCM Level-II Maintenance Analyst Certification by the Coast Guard or Naval Sea Systems Command.
  • Ability to obtain a SECRET - level clearance.
  • Excellent communication skills; oral and written


  • Pass a drug screen and federal background check is mandatory


  • Ability to pass a NACI background investigation and obtain a government issued Common Access Card (CAC) to access USCG IT systems and facilities.


Work Environment:



  • 501 Independence Pkwy, Chesapeake, VA, 23320, US
  • Must be able to travel to participate in MPC validation whenever it occurs.???????
