Apogee is seeking a Senior Acquisition Analyst located at MacDill AFB in Tampa, FL in support of Special Operations Forces Acquisition, Technology and Logistics' (SOF AT&L) Directorate of Science & Technology.

What you will be doing:



  • Support Government counterparts regarding the adequacy and clarity of Dir S&T program execution
  • Update and maintain status of S&T programs and provide decision-quality information, recommendations, and status briefings to leadership on assigned programs and projects
  • Support contract modifications and make technical recommendations for change order approval
  • Support budget control directly supporting programmatic efforts
  • Provide decision support inputs for Statements of Work, Statements of Objectives, Requests for Proposals, Project Proposals, Broad Area Announcement Reviews, Technical Reviews, schedules, cost estimates, cost proposals, and general studies
  • Apply advanced tools to document and analyze results of critical, complex activities and tasks
  • Plan, execute, and document surveillance of contract execution design, development, and production efforts on behalf of Government counterparts using performance indicators identified in applicable acquisition and programmatic processes
  • Provide expert-level inputs for status briefings to leadership, outlining assigned programs, projects, problems, and recommended resolution
  • Analyze trends Dir S&T performance to assist Government counterparts with managing SOF AT&L-level performance indicators; recommend corrective action, establish lessons learned, and influence process improvement
  • Coordinate and manage multiple strategic tasks for the SES-level S&T Director


Minimum Experience:
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Top Secret clearance with SCI Eligibility
Certifications: DAWIA Practitioner (formerly Level II) Equivalency in Program Management, Engineering & Technical Management, or Testing & Evaluation fields
Education: Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or STEM
Years of Experience: 10 years of DoD acquisition support

  • Exceptional expertise in the execution of Federal/DoD acquisition programs across a wide variety of capability areas
  • Significant experience developing Statements of Work, reviewing contracts, and conducting technical reviews
  • Significant experience in managing acquisition funding from budget development to obligation of funds

Preferred Experience:
Education: Master's degree in business, finance, or STEM
Years of Experience: 10 years of DoD acquisition support for a Program Management Office
