Operations Specialist

This position requires an active Public Trust clearance or the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance to be considered.

The Facility Operation Specialist will assist with CBP's acquisition; real property management, and funding management and budget tasks

Compensation & Benefits:



  • Estimated Starting Salary Range for Operations Specialist: $71,000 to $81,000.
  • Pay commensurate with experience.
  • Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided.
  • Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.



Operations Specialist Responsibilities Include:



  • Supports project needs, including acquisition management and analysis.
  • Assists in managing acquisition activities, developing documentation, and monitoring procurement timelines.
  • Develops and reviews acquisition documents according to various federal regulations.
  • Prepares Market Research, Findings, and Alternatives (AoA) documentation.
  • Creates cost estimates, tracks budgets, and manages funding, including Purchase Requisition Requests (PRRs) and financial reporting.
  • Manages real property and asset data, including inventory, documentation, and portfolio information in TRIRIGA.
  • Develops and maintains databases for facility and project information, generating standard reports.
  • Supports project execution, including reporting, QA/QC, and risk management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.



Operations Specialist Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities



  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5 or more years' experience in facilities management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
  • Prior experience with IBM TRIRIGA and SAP is highly preferred but not required.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
  • Must be able to attain a CBP Public Trust clearance.
