Job Description: Summary: The person in this position will provide mining geology and related technical expertise to Barr's multidisciplinary project teams. Work may include developing drilling exploration programs, providing field exploration and mapping support, developing geologic models, resource and reserve estimation, and report writing for mine technical reports (such as pre-feasibility and feasibility). This person will provide technical expertise as well as manage projects involving both metal and non-metal mining. Administrative responsibilities such as business development, project management, project planning and scheduling, and workload estimating are also a part of this strategic role. This person will have the opportunity to serve as a mentor to junior and mid-level engineers, helping them develop their technical and project management skills by reviewing technical reports, providing guidance on analyses, and overseeing their financial and client management on projects. The work may require short-term, out-of-town work assignments. Minimum Qualifications:

A hybrid work arrangement may be considered for this position. A hybrid work arrangement refers to splitting time worked between a Barr office and a home office. This position can be based out of Barr's Salt Lake City, Utah; Reno, Nevada; or Denver, Colorado, office. Colorado and Nevada Applicants Only: Compensation: The anticipated base salary range for this position is $95,000-$130,000/year. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, and other compensable factors. Employees in this position may also be eligible for a discretionary cash bonus.
