Legal Intern

ABOUT THE ROLE

This role will be hybrid with 2-3 days/week in the Cary, NC office.

The Legal Intern at Cornerstone Building Brands is responsible for research and project support across the Legal Team. Reporting directly to the Assistant General Counsel -- Compliance, this role will have the opportunity to work with legal subject matter experts in contracting, employment law, internal investigations, data privacy and government contracting.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Possible projects and initiatives this intern will work on include:

• Review customer and vendor contracts
• Assist with internal investigations
• Develop and update company policies
• Develop and present client-focused training materials on legal topics
• Legal research and analysis

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Completed one year at an ABA-accredited Law School is required
• Knowledge of basic legal concepts in contract, tort and/or employment law preferred
