Position: CT Technologist - PRN

As a CT Technologist at Grady Health System, you'll be at the forefront of diagnostic imaging, working under the guidance of our experienced radiologists. Your role will involve performing total body imaging for patients of all ages-neonates, pediatrics, and adults-across various body planes. You'll utilize cutting-edge CT technology to produce high-quality diagnostic images, all while maintaining the highest standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Perform comprehensive CT imaging studies for patients, ensuring precision and quality in every scan.
  • Master the full range of CT scanner capabilities and associated technologies.
  • Deliver exceptional patient care and contribute to the optimization of patient flow and study throughput.


What We're Looking For:



  • Education:

    • Prior to January 1, 2015: Certificate or diploma from an accredited Radiologic Technology Program and a High School Diploma or GED.
    • Effective January 1, 2015: Associate's Degree and a certificate or diploma from an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.


  • Experience:

    • At least one year of experience as a Registered Technologist, Radiation Therapist; OR currently enrolled in an approved ARRT Computed Tomography (CT) Program, with CT certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) expected within one year of hire.


  • Certification:

    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
    • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in any primary modality (Nuc Med, Radiation Therapy, or Radiography) to be classified as a Registered Technologist.
    • Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist Certification by the ARRT is preferred.
