Description
Nitsch Engineering is looking for a Marketing Specialist to join our Mid-Atlantic Team serving Maryland, Virginia, and Washington DC!

Responsibilities
  • Oversee Mid-Atlantic Project Pursuits and Proposals: Manage the pursuit process from start to finish, including tracking project leads, recommending projects, guiding the go/no-go process, developing qualifications materials for subconsultant pursuits, and leading prime proposal development.
  • Own Content Creation and Strategy: Create content, including e-marketing and social media content, to support marketing efforts in DC, Maryland, and Virginia.
  • Facilitates Business Development: Assist the Mid-Atlantic technical team with client connections, industry events, meetings, and lead pursuits.
  • Coordinate Presentations and Events: Organize and oversee preparation for interviews, presentations, trade shows, and conferences.
  • Implement Marketing Plans: Help develop and lead execution for Mid-Atlantic marketing and communication plans.
  • Assist with Budget and Research: Help develop the marketing budget, conduct market research, and prepare regular activity reports.
  • Liaise with Staff: Attend marketing meetings, support technical staff with seminars and presentations, and provide training on marketing and business development.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of marketing experience, with at least one year of experience in the AEC industry.
  • Ability to travel to our DC office location at least once per month.
  • Degree in Marketing, English, or equivalent experience.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
  • Proven experience managing trade shows and similar events, including booth assembly.
  • Excellent writing, grammar, and proofreading skills; strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint) and Adobe InDesign; experience with additional Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
