Position Purpose |
The
Testing Center Manager oversees the administration of accommodated course tests, ensuring compliance with
ADA/504 regulations and maintaining high standards for security and confidentiality. They lead communications with faculty, students, and staff, manage scheduling, and address capacity concerns strategically. Additionally, the manager develops and updates documentation regarding policies and procedures, implements communication protocols, and drives program improvements through ongoing assessment. |

Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities |
- Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of administrative or program coordination experience in a fast-paced educational setting.
- Commitment to fully serving a diverse population.
- Strong planning and organizational skills and high level of attention to detail. Ability to prioritize and complete duties. Excellent follow-through to ensure integrity of Testing Center.
- Flexibility and adaptability. Ability to calmly respond to challenging situations, pressures, deadlines, and frequent schedule changes in real time.
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to foster positive and productive relationships with a range of stakeholders.
- Collaborative approach with colleagues to support the mission of SAS.
- Respect for privacy and adherence to confidentiality guidelines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and Canvas. Comfort learning new software and applications.
- Availability to work extended work hours approximately one week each quarter during finals.

Preferred Qualifications |
- Master's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 4+ years of administrative or program coordination experience in a higher education setting.
- At least 2 years supervisory experience.
- Ability to troubleshoot computer issues (on PC and Mac) that may arise in the course of test administration.
- Experience with Accessible Information Management or similar disability service database, Slack, and Qualtrics.

A11y Testing Center Administration -
- Oversees the administration of course tests consistent with faculty instructions and individually approved testing accommodations.
- Ensures compliance with ADA/504 regulations and supports critical compliance functions.
- Maintains high standards for the security of testing materials.

- Supervises and completes performance review process with at least one professional staff member.
