ROLE SUMMARY:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Technical Operations Supervisor to join our Technical Operations team. This individual will be instrumental in driving our manufacturing team success by leading the in-process testing team, testing intermediate components in the manufacturing process.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Oversee team of Production Test Specialists through effective planning, mentoring, directing and coordination of development activity.
  • Oversee the scheduling of in-process testing in a manner such that supports the operations schedule.
  • Maintain precision in conducting laboratory tests while ensuring timely and accurate reporting of results.
  • Develop and lead education for laboratory quality requirements and laboratory techniques to all personnel working in the lab and ensure that they are completed per cGxP standards.
  • Prepare and perform personnel evaluations and competencies and administer performance reviews.
  • Perform process improvement project work alongside Research Associates and Scientists as time and desire permits.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS degree in Science or Engineering or Biotechnology.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or operations role


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior experience working with biomarkers.
  • Hands on experience in manufacturing or quality control.
  • Strong organization and influence skills


  • Ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently


  • Strong verbal, listening, presentation and written communications skills


  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills


  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite


  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts and hands-on problem-solving techniques preferred
  • Six-sigma qualifications (yellow, green, or black belt)
