Summary:

The Logistics Analyst II will support the Distribution Operations Center (DOC) Vaccine Distribution at USAMMA contract, which provides vaccine distribution

management and medical quality control messaging. The DOC provides bio-defense vaccine distribution support to the Department of Defense (DoD) - anytime, anywhere. The DOC also provides MMQC messages and HAR notifications to the DoD in a timely manner to support the safe delivery of health care to all beneficiaries and operational forces.

Essential Job Functions:

• Assist in analyzing production, distribution, and inventory workflows to identify areas for improvement
• Support the development and execution of logistics plans that enhance product movement from production to distribution and inventory management
• Review and suggest improvements to procedures for distribution and inventory management to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction
• Help ensure rational product distribution and delivery strategies based on analysis reports and tracking data
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support seamless distribution operations and align with company objectives
• Conduct data analysis to evaluate logistics performance and assist in developing actionable recommendations
• Prepare reports on logistics metrics and contribute to performance assessments
• Support the implementation of new logistics tools, technologies, and best practices to improve workflow efficiencies
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in logistics processes
• Work on moderately complex projects, contributing to the timely achievement of program goals

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

• Solid understanding of logistics principles and distribution management
• Proficiency in logistics software and tools
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with diverse teams and stakeholders
• Ability to work independently on moderately complex tasks while contributing to team efforts
• Familiarity with inventory management and cost-saving strategies

Minimum Qualifications:

• Requires 2 - 4 years of related experience
• Experience with data analysis and reporting
• Must be a US citizen
• Ability to successfully pass an employment background check
• Must have Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus

The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $75,000 annually.
