Job Summary:
The Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences (DOVS) has built a world class reputation for compassionate patient care, cutting edge research, and hands-on training programs for resident physicians and clinical fellows. We are seeking candidates for a Uveitis position that will involve patient care, teaching and research. The position will be estimated at the following: uveitis (.4 FTE) and one of the following: comprehensive, medical retina or glaucoma (.4 FTE) and Academic time (.2 FTE) ophthalmology position. Candidates must be eligible for a Wisconsin medical license at time of hire. Research opportunities are available for interested candidates. Responsibilities: -Care of ophthalmology patients with portion of practice focused on the diagnosis and treatment of uveitic eye diseases and portion of practice providing clinical ophthalmology care in comprehensive, medical retina or glaucoma.
