Position SummaryThe University of New Mexico ("UNM") School of Law invites applications for a faculty position teaching business associations, contracts, and other business and commercial law topics. This faculty position is a full-time tenured or tenure-track position starting in Fall 2025. Entry-level and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply. Courses taught by this faculty member could include, in addition to business associations and contracts, contract drafting, business planning, various intellectual property classes, and commercial law courses such as the UCC. We seek candidates with scholarly distinction or promise, as well as a commitment to excellence in teaching. Offering a J.D. degree, the UNM School of Law is nationally recognized for innovative classes that combine law practice skills training with doctrinal instruction and a 10:1 student-to-faculty ratio. Our faculty is one of the most ethnically and racially diverse faculties in the country and our student body is similarly diverse.
