St. Jude is seeking a bioinformatics scientist to lead and participate in the development of multiple scientific products and initiatives on the St. Jude Cloud project. This position will work on a wide array of scientific problems applicable to large-scale pediatric cancer data sharing. Concretely, this role will work within the product team that develops the pediatric cancer reference knowledgebase, PeCan (https://pecan.stjude.cloud), to catalog harmonize and catalog this world-class resource for pediatric cancer genomics knowledge. Further, this role will participate in cross-ecosystem projects, such as developing the comprehensive diagnosis ontology used across St. Jude Cloud applications and collecting/harmonizing the catalog of scientific information shared through St. Jude Cloud. Finally, this position will participate in the development and publishing of bioinformatics workflows that are used to harmonize data published on St. Jude Cloud. Job Responsibilities:

It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
