Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Within a team environment, this position will perform the following responsibilities:
* Responsible for staffing, supervision, performance evaluation, task scheduling, job descriptions, and for conducting staff meetings with facilities team. 10%
* Perform analysis and create reports to support multiple Facilities areas with tools and information regarding key operational areas (i.e. contract terms, tracking service level agreements, preventative maintenance) to improve operations and reduce costs. Provides input into the development of operating and capital budgets. 30%
* Document, analyze, and revise business processes on a continual basis for all facilities related support services. Make recommendations and assist with process improvement, training, and implementation. 10%
* Provide project management support to CCRC departments in alignment with agency strategic plan as it pertains to the Facilities department. 10%
* Assist in maintaining the agency's fleet management program, including, but not limited to, vehicle purchases and maintenance. 10%
* Assist with the development and implementation of asset and inventory management program. Conduct periodic audits, report findings, and make recommendations for improvement. 30%

Job Specifications

Minimum Required

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required, BA preferred.
  • Experience: 5 years of supervisory or project management experience. Experience should include facilities supervision or oversight.
  • Professional/Technical Certifications: n/a
  • Technical Requirements:
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
  • Bilingual Required: n/a
  • Travel: Automobile, current auto insurance, current California Driver's License and DMV clearance required. Minimal travel required within CA.
  • Work Schedule: Full time. Must be available to work any day and be an on call representative for facilities. May need to respond to any emergency or maintenance situation as needed to maintain business operations.
  • Work environment: Some office work environment. Some manual / physical work, sometimes indoors or outdoors. Must have the ability to regularly climb ladders and step ladders. Ability to occasionally push/pull up to 75 pounds and lift up to 50 pounds.
