Summary:

In this role, you will be part of the Enterprise Data Management team. You will identify opportunities for members to realize significant supply cost reductions and operating efficiencies through a combination of contract maximization, standardization, and utilization processes. You will assign and update United Nations Standard Products & Service Code (UNSPSC) assignments and guidelines applying categorization. You will research and address stakeholder inquiries of UNSPSC categorization values.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Clinical Analysts that are performing quality assurance on functional equivalents, product attributes, and classification to UNSPSC and product spend categories including the Sync Code to UNSPSC mapping initiative.

  • Create and manage, with oversight, data flow processes and quality audits for the Product Enrichment team.

  • Collaborate with other teams and suppliers when necessary to resolve product or data issues to ensure data quality and integrity.

  • Assist with planning by participating in stakeholder meetings to gather requirements and/or understand current business processes.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.

  • 2 or more years or relevant experience required.

  • Previous hospital or clinical experience is highly preferred.

  • Knowledge of medical-surgical products preferred.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Attention to details and strong organizational skills.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $59,600.00 to $95,400.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
