Essential Functions:

• Provide analytical support to service lines across the organization by providing consistent and meaningful financial information, reporting and analysis.
• Perform bank and various GL account reconciliations, journal entries, and monthly accounting reports.
• Prepares all internal and external financial reports, including special reports as requested. Assist with preparation of the financial reports for monthly business review.
• Participate in monthly business reviews.
• Assists the VP of Finance with the annual operating and capital budgets and forecasts.
• Supports the annual operating and capital budget process.
• Assists with the proper filing of all federal and state tax returns and reports.
• Provides information for the productivity, efficiency and position control reports.
• Coordinates the annual financial audit, including the A-133 report.
• Administers, interprets and ensures compliance of organizational policies and procedures within assigned area(s).

Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business management. CPA preferred.
• A minimum of five years working as an Accountant is preferred.
• Knowledge of health care accounting practices a plus.
• Extensive knowledge of Financial Management software and systems.
