MACHINE CREW LEADER (201735)

• Evaluate workload for machine operations along with informing supervisors about any issues
• Walk length of machines to ensure it is ready to run
• Monitor glue levels; maintain a clean and efficient glue system
• Check calipers and adjust lengths as needed.
• Set up computer for daily workload, maintain production reports, and document data collection
• Consistently communicate with supervisors and crew members
• Maintain and organize sample racks
• Other duties as assigned:
  • Assist in all phases of machine and department operation as needed for breaks, changes, or special projects
  • Keep up to date with any ongoing machine improvements
  • Maintain cleanliness to ensure safety of all personnel

General Information:

Hours: 2:00pm-10:00pm, Monday-Friday

Length: Temp to Hire

Pay: $24.00

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  
• Must be able to read and write in English
• Proficient in using a computer
• Ability to work in a faster-paced work environment
• Must be comfortable standing for eight-plus hours at a time along with bending, twisting, rotating, stoop, kneel and/or crouch; regularly lift up to 25 lbs., frequently lift 50lbs, and/or move up to 100lbs occasionally.
• Excellent problem-solving skills along with high attention to detail
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions and decimals
• Compute rate, ratios percentages along with understanding bar graphs and charts
• Flexible in working overtime
