Provide support for two departments in the School of Veterinary Medicine: Population Health and Reproduction and Pathology, Microbiology & Immunology. Responsible for providing comprehensive personnel management and support. Provide consultation, advice and planning in support of business processes, policies and practices. Independently provide research, analysis and guidance related to personnel management (staff/academic), including recruitment, classification, stipends, equities, employee and labor relations, training and development, merits, appraisals, academic appointments, merits and promotions and other general personnel actions. Collaborates with Shared Services Center (AUSS-C) and Dean's Office. Department Overview The Department of Pathology, Microbiology and Immunology (PMI) and the Department of Population Health and Reproduction (PHR) are under the School of Veterinary Medicine. PHR is an academic department with approximately 185 employees: 21 academic senate faculty (including 2 CAHFS faculty), 18 academic federation members, 8 postdoctoral scholars, 18 staff titles, 28 various student titles in addition to 25 emeriti. PMI is an academic department with approximately 160 active employees: 38 academic senate faculty (includes 10 CAHFS faculty), 9 academic federation members, 15 postdoctoral scholars, 34 staff titles, 13 various student titles in addition to 35 emeriti.
