JOB SUMMARY The Medication Access Coordinator (Pharmacy Navigator) reports to their respective manager in close collaboration with the clinical ambulatory pharmacy team and serves as the primary liaison for clinical stakeholders regarding pharmacy-based prior authorization programs, refill renewals, prescription assistance programs, and assists the clinical pharmacists in their daily tasks at their discretion. The Pharmacy Navigator is responsible for integrating work, coordinating initiatives, and communicating as necessary across multiple Wentworth Douglass Clinic sites, medication-related prior authorization and support programs, as well as facilitating communication and documentation for clinical stakeholders. The Pharmacy Navigator competes assignments with a high degree of accuracy and precision and documentation is clear, concise, well organized, and timely. The Pharmacy Navigator is also responsible for overseeing workload and balancing quality improvement project management. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
