Overview:

The Channel Account Executive is responsible for developing and expanding positive relationships with Mitel Channel Partners and positioning Mitel to maximize sales (revenue/bookings) and revenue growth from Mitel's Strategic channel partners. Overall, the Mitel channel account manager plays a crucial role in driving sales, fostering strong partnerships, and ensuring the success of the company's channel partner ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner Relationship Management: Account management of 25 partner accounts. Work with assigned partner lists to provide basic product training sales support and sustain productive partnerships by regularly interacting with partners.

  • Account Planning & Strategy: Participate in account planning activities, working alongside senior team members to develop strategies that enhance partner engagement and drive growth. Contribute insights during strategy sessions to better align partner needs with Mitel's business objectives.

  • Communication & Presentation: Demonstrate strong communication skills by effectively presenting information to partners, though further development in this area may be needed. Address basic partner inquiries with clarity and confidence, ensuring partners feel supported and valued.

  • Continuous Learning & Development: Exhibit curiosity and a willingness to learn, actively listen to partners, and seek out opportunities for professional growth. Engage in ongoing learning to deepen product knowledge and enhance partner relationships.

  • Process-Driven Execution: Execute tasks with attention to detail, following established processes and procedures. Work under supervision to ensure commitments are met, focusing on delivering high-quality support to partners.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree; or high school diploma + relevant experience

  • 2 years experience in similar type role

  • Basic understanding of sales enablement, product education, and partner relationship management.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a willingness to improve and develop further.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
