Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage the marketing of ABB's offerings to targeted market segments and manage the offerings throughout their lifecycle, in line with market needs and division/product group/business line strategy and targets. Each day, you will be accountable for the long-term profitable growth of an offer. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting business results by overseeing each step involved in the offer lifecycle including development, launch, go-to-market, maintenance, pricing, and profitability.
The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid if located in the New Berlin area, or #Li-Remote if located outside of a commutable distance.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Own technical specifications and lead OEM product life cycle management.
Act as the technical interface between local markets and internal teams, supporting sales with product and technical expertise.
Create demand through technical promotion and value-based selling, understanding customer needs and maintaining strong relationships.
Prepare business plans for market development, implement pricing policies, and monitor competitive offerings.
Collaborate with product management and marketing to define market communication strategies and plan product launches.

Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelor's degree and 8 years of work experience in a complex global business environment, Associate's degree and 10 years of work experience in a complex global business environment or High School diploma with 12 years of experience required.
  • Proven expertise in the application and integration of PLCs and HMIs.
  • Progressive experience in product management and customer relationship management required.
  • Proven track record of cross functional collaboration, excellent stakeholder engagement and strategic mindset and passion to drive business results required.
  • Travel up to 10%.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English required.
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant's qualifications and experience, this position is
expected to pay between $92,500 and $171,500 annually and is eligible for a short-term incentive plan/annual bonus.
