Seasonal (Seasonal) Solitude is seeking a driven and passionate ski/snowboard repair technician who enjoys the outdoors and beautiful mountains. The repair/tuner technician is responsible for the maintenance and tuning of all rental department and guest-owned equipment, as well as working in the rental shop as needed. SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must have professional winter equipment maintenance experience Capable of standing for extended periods of time and able to lift up to 50 lbs. Willing to work flexible work schedules with varying hours per week that may include weekends and holidays Self-starter, ability to work with high standards without supervision High safety standards Attention to detail Must have customer service experience Basic cashiering skills Passion for winter and summer sports Thorough Knowledge of Winter and Summer Sports Equipment Thorough Understanding of Current Equipment Maintenance and Tuning Techniques Must work in the rental shop as needed JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide a high level of customer service Maintain a high level of proficiency in repairing/tuning skis and snowboards Perform maintenance on all rental equipment Track rental equipment repairs Perform post-incident safety inspections Maintain repair shop equipment Maintain a safe and clean shop environment Help in the rental shop as needed Perks of Working Here: Work & Play in the Mountains: Embrace the stunning Wasatch Mountains.
