As a key member of the IT team, you will cultivate partnerships with business stakeholders and leverage IT capabilities to define challenges, identify requirements, and lead collaborative efforts to design and implement innovative technology solutions. These solutions will not only enhance and optimize business systems but also concretely advance IT's strategic objectives and boost overall business performance.

What You Will Do

  • Proactively connect with Containerboard business partners to build relationships with the goal of understanding their businesses process and goals.
  • Work with internal business partners to identify gaps in current state business processes that are blocking them from reaching their goals and define what is needed to close those gaps.
  • Effectively capture business requirements, map business processes, scope efforts, and develop functional specifications.
  • Collaborate across IT teams (application development, infrastructure, and support) and internal business partners to determine the best solutions by researching alternatives, performing functional analysis, and designing/implementing business transformation projects.
  • Communicate effectively to business partners, IT teams and Leadership on status, risks and roadblocks, and aid team members to overcome obstacles by working collaboratively.
  • Serve as the SME for planning and managing the implementation of a decided upon solution, including and any required integrations.
  • Execute against a prioritized backlog to deliver highest value initiatives aligned with business strategies.
  • Develop knowledge of supported business processes and system configuration to support, optimize and transform process across the business partners.
  • Actively oversee the health of all Containerboard applications (including Service Now incidents)
  • Provide on call support at least one week every month

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience in SQL Server transact-SQL or PL/SQL.
  • Experience understanding and diagraming complex business processes, gathering functional requirements, providing support and guidance to internal IT teams and external vendors as they develop technical solutions.
  • Ability to guide stakeholders through problem definition, requirements gathering, and implementation
