This individual will maintain diesel vehicles by performing mechanical and/or truck duties with the use of proper tools and mechanical/automotive equipment. Job Responsibilities:

• Change passenger and light truck tires, repair tires, perform oil changes, tire alignments, brake and shock replacements as needed
• Ability to use basic hand tools, tire tools (jack, bars, machines), alignment machines, brake lathe, air wrench and other essential tools
• Troubleshoot customer needs and inspect vehicles for additional problems
• Perform general housekeeping in work area
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Mechanical experience or knowledge required
• Basic automotive skills
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass pre-employment driver's file
• Ability to inspect vehicles for additional problems
• Ability to use basic hand tools, air wrench, and other essential tools
• Ability to work independent with minimal supervision

Physical Demands:

• Ability to perform multiple tasks
• Ability to lift up to a maximum 100 pounds with frequent lifts of 30 to 50 pounds
• Frequently simple grasping with hands, pushing and pulling, bending at waist, squatting, kneeling on ground
• Occasional fine manipulation, climbing, reaching above the shoulders and repetitive feet activities
• Ability to work in a fast paced, continually changing environment
• Primarily indoors work in a garage setting with occasional outdoor work in all weather conditions.
