Our client, the world's leading search engine and technology company, is seeking a Learning Solutions Architect. This is a 6 month + contract position located in Mountain View, CA.

Summary:


  • The cient's Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (Client) Education team is seeking a dynamic Learning Solutions Architect to develop and manage curriculum and learning paths on Client and Generative AI.
  • This role demands a unique blend of technical program management expertise, in-depth understanding of the AI/Client domain space, and hands-on experience with developer tools and file formats.
  • You will play a pivotal role in empowering our workforce to stay ahead of the curve in the rapidly evolving AI landscape.




Responsibilities:


  • Partner with curriculum creators (Technical Writers and Learning Designers) to understand and map new curriculum and learning activities.
  • Produce new learning paths and evolve existing learning paths as the domain of AI/Client changes, new curriculum becomes available, or company needs change.
  • Partner with the client's product teams to assess emerging learning needs and develop upskilling plans.
  • Use AI/Client domain expertise to assess curriculum suggestions or feature requests for learning paths and identify & curate high quality resources to meet objectives.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in using developer toolchains and submitting both markdown and protobuf files to ensure seamless integration of technical content into learning programs.
  • Leverage strong Technical Program Management skills to oversee project timelines, work estimation, and project communication.
  • Continuously assess the effectiveness of training programs and gather feedback from participants; implement data-driven improvements to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to improve efficiency of project operations.




Requirements:


  • 5+ years of experience in technical learning design, technical writing, Edtech, or technical program management.
  • Experience writing python, markdown, and protobuf files.
  • Experience working in developer toolchains, version control systems, and code repositories.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Solid understanding of AI concepts, algorithms, and applications.
  • Experience with AI development tools and frameworks is a plus.
  • Track record of managing complex technical projects and delivering results on time.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.

    • Content curation:

      • Ability to gather information relevant to a particular topic or area of interest with the intention of adding value.


    • Curriculum management:

      • Ability to deliberately and systematically organize curriculum within a domain.


    • Learning experience design:

      • Ability to create learning experiences that enable employees to achieve desired learning outcomes in a human centered, empathetic, and goal-oriented way, synthesizing concepts of instructional design, educational pedagogy, neuroscience, social sciences, design thinking, and User Experience Design.


    • Learning management systems:

      • Understanding of software for the administration, documentation, tracking, reporting, and delivery of educational courses of training programs to create an immersive and meaningful learning experience.


    • Learning needs analysis:

      • Ability to systematically determine and address needs or gaps between current conditions and desired conditions.


    • Technical aptitude:

      • Ability to quickly and proactively learn concepts, procedures, strategies, and principles in a technical domain.


    • Communications management:

      • Ability to listen effectively to stakeholders, to communicate program goals and progress to them in a manner tailored to their interests and concerns at all levels, and to drive understanding and inform decisions.


    • Technical writing:

      • Ability to create accurate, clear, concise, and well-organized content that transfers knowledge to users to meet their needs.
      • Ability to communicate and deliver information to a variety of audience types in a manner that is adapted to each learning style, level of understanding, and background.


    • Markdown:

      • Ability to write files in the markup language Markdown.


    • Protobufs:

      • Ability to write protocol buffer files.


    • Machine Learning understanding:

      • Solid understanding of AI concepts, algorithms, and applications.




  • Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.

    • Ability to identify stakeholders and work with them to strategize, plan, and prioritize objectives, estimate task durations, and ensure schedules and dependencies are aligned and support those objectives.


  • Working with subject matter experts:

    • Ability to work effectively with subject matter experts to understand new technologies, independently identify and extract information that users need, and collaborate on iterations of curriculum plans.


  • Python:

    • Knowledge of the programming language Python.
    • This includes programming practices, major features and capabilities, and system management tools.


  • Code comprehension:

    • Ability to extract relevant information from reading code in one or more core languages and frameworks, including the ability to leverage the code as a resource to create work output for users or stakeholders.


  • Code and systems health:

    • Ability to redesign or refactor code or systems to address technical debt, improve readability, and more easily facilitate future improvements to promote a healthy and sustainable codebase.


  • Machine learning experience:

    • Experience with AI development tools and frameworks.






Pay rate range: $50.25 - $69.07 hourly
