Koch Capabilities Company is seeking a Supervisor to join our Data Management, Enablement and Transformation team. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about our Principle Based Management culture, servant leadership, developing talent, driving continuous improvement, and supporting our team to achieve strategic goals. As a Data Management Supervisor, you will focus on the coaching and development of individuals on Data Product or Platform Teams. This includes coaching on aspects of effective decision-making, data strategies, communication, operational effectiveness, and application of Principal Based Management frameworks. In addition to leadership and talent development, you will be responsible for advancing the knowledge and skills of the organization and leading various strategic initiatives. Our Team The DMET (Data Management, Enablement and Transformation) team is focused on developing a long-term sustainable capability utilizing data and technology to transform finance. This includes a diverse group with multiple teams focused on data platform technologies, specific data products and transformation with an emphasis on data security. Our strategy will empower the finance and tax organizations to create superior value while consuming few resources, unlocking analytical capabilities, mitigating risk, and meeting ever-changing regulatory requirements. What You Will Do * Partner with Data Product and Platform Owners to create talent strategies that align with business and data strategy needs. * Lead by example, coach, mentor, develop and influence application of Principal Based Management. * Provide ongoing coaching and real-time feedback to help each employee recognize their strengths and opportunities for development so they can continue to self-actualize and drive value. * Ensure each employee is continually learning and improving. Measure what matters most and ensure each employee knows how what they do affects results. * Recognize and reward individuals based on what will motivate them to maximize their contribution to the long-term success of Koch Industries consistent with Principal Based Management. * Remove roadblocks to maximize team effectiveness and collaboration. * Participate and advance strategies for growing data capability needs. * Work cross functionally with internal team, leadership, customers, and external partners. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) * Experience in leadership, specifically in managing a team or projects. * Skilled at developing talent; individually and organizationally. * Self-motivated and ambitious mindset. * Excellent communication and organizational skills. What Will Put You Ahead * Experience building, coaching, and developing/managing a diverse team with a focus on inclusion. * Understanding of data concepts, principals, tools, etc. * Experience working in or leading Technical, Tax, Accounting or Finance teams. * Knowledge and experience with Agile concepts and practices.
