Position Title: Mechanic Technician
Wage: $27.84 - $38.35/hour Shift: 1st, 2nd or 3rd Hours: 7:00am - 3:00pm, 7:00am - 7:00pm / 3:00am - 3:00pm OR 3:00pm - 11:00pm / 3:00pm - 3:00am / 11:00am - 11:00pm OR 11:00pm - 7:00am / 11:00pm - 11:00am / 7:00pm - 7:00am Are your skills not being fully utilized? Mechanic Technician Responsibilities: - Performing preventive maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring wear, measuring position, repositioning components, and observing operations. - Performing emergency break downs - Performing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and other repairs and installations as needed - Maintaining clean and organized work areas - Prepare and maintain maintenance records and other paperwork. - Troubleshooting and solving problems Requirements for Mechanic Technician: - Knowledge in pneumatics, hydraulics, bearings, power transmissions and lubrication - Mechanical and electrical skills - Knowledge of manufacturing plants - Positive attitude and excellent attendance - Excellent teamwork, cooperation and problem solving skills - Willing to work alternative shifts, weekends, and overtime as required Benefits: - Insurance (health, dental, life, disability) - Retirement (401k or pension as applicable) - Paid Time Off - Education & Development including Tuition Reimbursement) QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
