Position Title: Data Compliance Specialist Wage: $65,000 - $75,000/year Shift: 1st Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Call Center Compliance Specialist in Libertyville, IL to support the regulatory compliance functions related to our call center operations and lead generation efforts. The Compliance Specialist will be responsible for maintaining an effective compliance program by establishing standards, monitoring adherence, and implementing controls to prevent compliance deficiencies. This role involves working closely with the marketing, IT, and legal teams to ensure all call center and lead generation activities are in full compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Prior experience working in a call center is required. Data Compliance Specialist Responsibilities: - Stay current with all federal and state laws and regulations related to call center operations and lead generation, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) - Collaborate with Marketing and IT teams to prepare for regulatory changes and ensure compliance with outbound dialing, inbound calls, and lead generation rules - Review and approve new lead generation partners, ensuring TCPA compliance before they go live - Regularly audit partner websites and complete webforms to verify our company's Doing Business As (DBA) presence in TCPA opt-in sections - Conduct random audits to ensure consumer information aligns with received leads - Manage and maintain lead generation compliance software, including LeadID, to ensure all leads comply with TCPA requirements - Identify risks related to call center and lead generation practices and make recommendations to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations - Oversee large-scale compliance projects, providing expertise and guidance throughout the project lifecycle - Maintain a thorough understanding of the company's lead generation policies and procedures, and monitor client service activities for compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies - Provide training to client service staff on compliance matters and serve as a liaison between Marketing and legal counsel when necessary - Analyze call center and lead generation practices, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed - Handle additional tasks to support data compliance and maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders Requirements for Data Compliance Specialist: - Proven experience in data compliance, lead management and call center operations - A minimum of three years of experience in audit, compliance, or risk management, with strong analytical skills and the ability to identify risks and make sound recommendations - 2-year degree in Business, Law, or a related field, or a paralegal certificate preferred - Strong experience managing large-scale compliance projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment - Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and legal/compliance research tools - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to train staff and collaborate effectively across departments - Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously caitlin.dahl@qpsemployment.com IND999 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
