WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING (ESSENTIAL DUTIES) ... This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work individually in a fast-paced environment. Under the direction of the Manager of Facilities and Projects, the Maintenance Technician performs a variety of skilled duties relative to the overall maintenance and safe operation of all NMH facilities located in Middletown, Rhode Island. Essential Duties: Conducting routine maintenance and safety checks General building maintenance and repairs Upholds safety standards when performing tasks. Maintain inventory records. Assemble machines, equipment, and office furniture. Perform mechanical repairs. Schedules and coordinates maintenance tasks WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU... High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) Knowledge of basic carpentry, electrical, and plumbing procedures, etc. Proficiency with hand and power tools. Ability to work independently on assignments to completion with minimal supervision. Valid Rhode Island Drivers' License Assists with cleaning & overall appearance/general safety.
