Position Description

The position is responsible for administrative duties supporting Continuous Improvement to include collection and entry of daily, weekly, and monthly data. Generation and publication of reports, charts, and graphs based on collected data. the successful candidate will also engage in a variety of projects supporting multi-functional departments from time to time. This position will be reporting to the Continuous Improvement manager and dotted line to the EHS Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read, comprehend and follow work instructions and Standard Work
  • Perform BBS, Lean Simplification, 5S, audits as needed
  • Must be qualified to use a forklift
  • Able to make solid decisions in respect to workspace layouts, regarding Ergonomics
  • Have a basic understanding of CAD and willing to self-train to become proficient in Solid Edge
  • Assist in training the production floor and other departments.
  • Modify/Publish documents in Microsoft Word & Excel
  • Responsible for supporting all implementation of lean tools/initiatives.
  • Gather data and generate charts/graphs using Powerpoint
Required Education & Qualifications
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities and easily adapt to changing situations
  • Basic math skills
  • Analyzing information
  • Create databases using Microsoft Access
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and confidentially with limited direction
  • Willing to work across shifts as needed
  • Willing to attend training for further developement
