Position Summary

The Sr. Software Engineer, Business Process Management (BPM) role is critical in designing, implementing, and optimizing business processes using cutting-edge technology and will be instrumental in the migration of existing and legacy workflows from the on-premises, K2 Platform to Azure Cloud. They'll utilize Azure Platform services such as Power Automate and Power Apps and be responsible for developing workflows that align with BPMN standards, requiring direct interaction with business users to gather requirements, design process solutions, and ensure developed workflows effectively meet their business needs.

The Sr. Software Engineer will partner closely with members of the Engineering Solutions (ES) team to ensure seamless integration of new cloud-based processes with TCW's existing systems and be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the technology architecture, while adhering to best practices and standards. This role requires a strong technical foundation, analytical thinking, and the ability to drive solutions that enhance the user experience and business operations by leveraging automation to streamline processes.

The position is based in TCW's modern office in Los Angeles.



Essential Duties

    Minimum of 7-10 years' work experience in design, implementation, and optimization of technology platforms for business processes and the assigned business units.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience managing workflow migrations, ensuring TCW's smooth migration from our legacy, K2 platform to Azure.
  • Ongoing partnership with business stakeholders to gather requirements for effective design process solutions, as well as with the ES team ensuring seamless integration of the new cloud-based processes with our existing system.
  • Support the team in all business process management improvements or transformation initiatives.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Expertise in BPMN standards, developing and optimizing workflows and technical process management.
  • Prior work experience in Asset Management or financial services, with expert level comprehension of the full trade life cycle.
  • Experience migrating workflows to cloud environments, particularly Azure Cloud with services like Power Automate and Power Apps.
  • Familiarity with Azure Cloud Environment and a solid understanding of cloud services and infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in database management, particularly with SQL Server, and experience in handling large datasets.

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools, such as Jenkins, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of Snowflake.

Estimated Compensation:

Base Salary: For CA based position, the base salary range is $!80K-$200K. This is an anticipated range and represents base salary only.

Other Compensation: Eligible to be considered for an annual discretionary bonus.
