Overview

Job Purpose

The Analyst will support the New York Stock Exchange's (NYSE) Listings franchise by generating and qualifying new business leads. The goal of the Inside Sales New Business Analyst role is to launch and develop a career within the Listings business & NYSE. In this developmental role, the goal is to generate growth opportunities for the firm and the individual. You will be exposed to all business lines and collaborate across various products and teams within the greater ICE organization. Your success will be largely dependent on the execution of outreach campaigns, proactive outreach to inbound leads, identifying new decision listing makers within prospective clients and penetrating new markets and potential clients. Internal networking and collaboration with the listings & capital markets teams are key functions of this role which will further lead to success. This role is a great step into the organization's pillars and a chance to make an immediate impact as the front line for the NYSE & ICE.

Responsibilities

  • Generate Opportunity: Identify and generate qualified sales leads for new listings by proactively working with both the broader sales organization and sales leadership on firm led campaigns, employee generated campaigns and identifying and cold outreach to prospects to develop a pipeline of new business opportunities
  • Develop within NYSE/ICE: ICE invests in employee development through monthly hosted product meetings and mentorships with the Sales and Relationship Management teams.
  • Support the Team: Initiate account review meetings, collaborate with sales team, development of individual strategy to assist with prospecting efforts
  • Measure Progress: Accurately track pipeline, update sales management on campaign, growth, and product trends, forecast for smarter-sales methodologies.
  • Use your voice: participate in sales meetings, product instruction, process trainings.
  • Master the toolsets: Salesforce, Factset, ZoomInfo, MS Office, etc... Use the tools to best serve the goals.
  • Be Hungry, Be Creative: Challenge traditional sales and outreach methodologies, strategize with the experts of the firm, utilize the power of the brand to drive results.
  • Lead with the Client: Foster relationships and provide exceptional client service always. Supporting Transfer Lead with account strategy to further expand the NYSE listings business and identify new opportunities. Coordination and assisting with client meetings allow for a firsthand experience at client/NYSE interaction.
  • Network: Internally and externally, collaboration with colleagues and industry peers is paramount to success in the role.
  • Be a teammate: Work closely, collaboratively, respectfully with members of the team for mutual growth.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree, Finance, Economics or other Business-related field of study a plus
  • An interest in developing a career in Financial Services, specifically equity markets
  • Strong business acumen, with high initiative and goal orientated
  • Strong communication skills and professional telephone manner
  • The ability to build and develop rapport, influence others, and maintain strong working relationships
  • Has the capacity to learn quickly and hit the ground running
  • Previous sales internship in a similar environment or role is preferred but not essential
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Factset, and/or ZoomInfo a bonus

Schedule

This role offers work from home flexibility of up to 1 day per week.

New York Base Salary Range

The expected base salary for this role if located in New York City is between 55,000 - 70,000 USD. The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange's rewarding and uncapped sales commission incentives. While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual.
