GIS Project Manager

The GIS Project Manager will serve as the technical lead to coordinate project plans and participate in the development and implementation of the organization's GIS and/or alphanumeric systems to meet the organization's service objective OR & WA BLM Branch of Geographic Sciences.

Work Environment:

Location: NV5 Geospatial Headquarters, Regional offices, or work from home considered
• Travel <10% of the time (some occasional on-site visits required).

• Manage data, deliverables, and aspects of the GIS project.
• Maintain responsibility for the overall execution of the tasks.
• Assigns, schedules, and reviews the work of subordinates.
• Organizes, directs, and coordinates planning and production of all task/delivery order support activities.
• Directs the generation, performance, and review of task/delivery order deliverable items.

Requirements:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Geography/GIS, Science, Engineering or related field*
• 3+ years proven work experience managing GIS projects**
• Proficient in legal land descriptions and cadastral work.
• Demonstrated experience planning, executing, and closing projects on time and within budget.
• Experience in managing project resources, including deliverables and personnel allocation.
