Position Overview:

The Sales Manager will play a meaningful role in driving revenue growth and growing LSEG Risk Intelligence's market presence. This position requires a strategic problem solver with a proven track record in sales management, particularly in the bank verification, identity verification, and financial technology spaces. The Sales Manager will lead a team of sales professionals, develop and implement sales strategies, handle long sales cycles, and build strong relationships with clients to achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Strategy & Execution:

    • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the financial technology, bank verification, and identity verification sectors.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and sales collateral.
  • Team Leadership & Development:

    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of sales professionals, providing guidance and support to help them achieve individual and team goals.
    • Drive the team to overachieve sales quotas, ensuring consistent performance and growth.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching to enhance team performance.
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, integrity, and customer focus.
  • Client Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and ensuring satisfaction with LSEG Risk Intelligence's products and services.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights on industry trends and how LSEG Risk Intelligence's solutions can address their challenges.
    • Manage long sales cycles, ensuring effective communication and engagement throughout the process.
    • Work closely with the customer success team to ensure seamless onboarding and support for new clients.
  • Contract Negotiations:

    • Lead contract discussions with clients, ensuring favorable terms and alignment with company goals.
    • Work closely with legal and finance teams to structure agreements that meet both client and company needs.
  • Market Analysis & Competitive Intelligence:

    • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform sales strategies.
    • Share client feedback to the product and marketing teams on market needs and opportunities.
    • Identify potential risks and opportunities in the market and develop strategies to address them.
  • Reporting & Forecasting:

    • Track and report on sales metrics, pipeline development, and revenue forecasts.
    • Prepare and present regular sales reports to the Director of Sales and senior management.
    • Analyze sales data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
What you bring:
  • BA/BS ... MBA is a plus.
  • 5+ years of sales experience, with at least 2 years in a sales management role within the financial technology, bank verification, identity verification, or fraud prevention industries.
  • Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Experience leading a team to overachieve sales quotas.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in contract negotiations and managing long sales cycles.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales tools.
  • Knowledge of the financial technology landscape, including identity verification, bank verification, and fraud prevention, is highly preferred.
