CPS Energy CD&D Large Commercial Design experience required (Commercial Engineering to include Overhead Feed and Underground to Pad-Mount 3-Phase Transformers)

Electric Distribution Design

Shall have a working knowledge of the practices and procedures pertaining to technical matters in one or more of the following areas:

a) Electrical Engineering

b) GIS

c) CADD

d) DEG management may consider other education and work experience to be acceptable for appointment to this position.

Shall perform with a minimum of supervision, a variety of design related duties including, but not limited to, the following:

a) Prepare manual or computer assisted design and construction drawings of a complex nature.

b) Perform design services requiring a full understanding of drawings, specifications, industry and client standards covering the assigned work.

c) Preparation of cost estimates, specifications, evaluations, and requisitions.

d) Perform distribution system design calculations.

e) Coordinate design deliverables to meet project schedules.

f) Acquire field data necessary to prepare the appropriate design

BS in Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.

P.E. A plus

Working knowledge of the practices and procedures pertaining to technical matters in the following areas:

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
