Position Summary The Director of Collections oversees the Collection Teams of the MCMF Physician Billing department under the direction of the Vice President of MSO/ Revenue Cycle services. The span of control for this roll includes both Nautilus MSO and MCMG. The position is responsible for collections functions, including ensuring that department activities comply with Federal and State regulations and collection SLAs and that collection KPIs are maintained at or favorable to industry standards. Oversees the interaction and personally interacts with physicians and office staff to develop and maintain effective collection protocols. This role ensures ongoing communication and valuable relationships with internal and external customers. Consistently provides ongoing evaluation and refinement of internal collection processes to ensure maximum productivity and results. Conducts proactive analyses, monitors reimbursement trends, and maintains up-to-date knowledge and proficiency concerning coding guidelines and medical billing requirements.
