Description

The Healthcare Analyst IV manages complex data to provide meaningful information for decision making at Medica. The key stakeholder that this role supports is the Commercial business segment and this role will serve as the analytic subject matter expert for the commercial segment. The incumbent uses various sources of information for analyses as well as coordinates with internal analytic subject matter experts to help segment leadership make data-driven strategic decisions. They will be able to present analyses/recommendations to both a technical and non-technical audience. The Healthcare Analyst IV works with all levels of staff within Medica, and may work with external customers, organizations, and vendors.

Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Actuarial Science or related field required - 7+ years of experience data analysis experience required
  • Fluency in data management language SAS and/or SQL and understanding of data extraction from relational database systems required
  • Experience analyzing health insurance claims and administrative data required



This position is a Hub role, which requires an employee to occasionally come onsite to the designated office - Minnetonka, MN or Madison, WI - for applicable heads-up work. Frequency is determined by business need as decided by leadership.

The full salary range for this position is 97,700 - $167,500.Annual salary range placement will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, applicable certifications and/or licensure, the position's scope and responsibility, internal pay equity and external market salary data.
