Oversee the management of contracts for new construction and/or major renovations for multi-million dollar capital programs.
Essential Functions
- Develops project plans, work breakdown, and schedules required to successfully complete projects on time and within budget
- Provides oversight and direction to general contractor, construction managers or other independent construction teams for the management of construction
- Ensures that construction projects conform to local state and federal
- Maintains construction project
- Performs and/or reviews calculations to ensure that estimates conform to regulatory requirements as well as
- Inspects construction projects to assure conformance with designs, plans, and Performs surveys, tests and investigations related to construction projects. Resolves conflicts between drawings and specifications with general contractor, construction contractors and other appropriate parties.
- Prepares clear, technically sound and accurate reports on construction
- Utilizes computer software in preparation, analyses, and reporting of construction project
- Reviews and resolves claims arising from construction projects in consultation with appropriate technical and legal
- Proposes, negotiates and concludes change order
- Reviews, monitors and utilizes warranties on materials related to construction
- Develops and maintains communication and reporting cham1els with internal
- Plans and coordinates implementation of tasks related to project close-out and building
- Assists in preparation and monitoring of construction project
- May provide guidance to support Staff

Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management from an accredited college or
- Five years of experience in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management to include three years in a lead or supervisory
- Additional related education, training, or experience may be substituted on a year for year basis for the education
- Valid non-commercial class C driver's
- Experience in computer software used in construction project management, building design and or construction
- Experience with Proliance project management software, Primavera project scheduling software and
- Autodesk Revit building design software
- Skills in the use of Microsoft Office
- Demonstrated in-depth skills at construction monitoring, resolving conflicts between drawings and specifications, inspection of materials for specification compliance, and related
- Demonstrated in-depth skills at general contractor construction management
- Demonstrated in-depth skills in the management of projects utilizing the CM at Risk GMP project delivery
- Demonstrated in-depth skills at claims review, change order negotiations, warranty
- Demonstrated in-depth skills at internal client coordination and
- Demonstrated in-depth skills at project close-out and building commissioning.
