Position Description

The Privileged Access Solution Engineerwill be responsible for being a lead contributor in designing, implementing, and maintaining privileged access management (PAM) solutions within our organization. This role focuses on securing and managing the privileged accounts that have elevated access to critical systems and data. The engineer will work closely with IT security, compliance, and operations teams to ensure that privileged access controls are robust, effective, and aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on large scale efforts as an identity and privilege access management engineer, including identifying the right mix of tools and techniques to enable application and infrastructure teams to use automation for secrets management
  • Drive efforts with cross teams including product management, peer engineering teams, operations, and leadership to build full lifecycle self-serving identity solutions.
  • Lead large scale infrastructure efforts and ensure all upstream/downstream dependencies have minimal impacts
  • Apply expertise to perform discovery and analysis, architecture design, solution design, plan solution implementations, and apply best practices to mature CyberArk capabilities
  • Utilize excellent complex problem-solving skills to establish large enterprise grade solution services

Critical Skills

  • Minimum of 5+ years CyberArk administration experience
  • 5+ years professional experience as a Windows administrator
  • CyberArk Sentry certification minimum
  • 3+ years proven proficiency automating manual operational tasks or system integrations using scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or other

Additional Knowledge & Skills

  • Skilled in Active Directory concepts, including users, computer objects, groups, and policies
  • Proficient knowledge and understanding of key principals of IAM such as multi-factor authentication, identity lifecycle management, Zero Trust and other security principals or frameworks (e.g. NIST CSF and SP 800-63)
  • Experience with Conjur or other cloud secrets solutions
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work Independently and as part of a team
  • Experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum)

Education

4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$147,100 - $245,100
