Coordinates training programs, events, communications, and analyzes training data. Supports the training team to ensure effective administration and the quality of the training experience.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage budgets:Develop and administer training department budgets, and recommend equipment and staff and department purchases.
  • Maintain records: Trainee lists, schedules, and attendance sheets.
  • Manage large events and logistics (hotel, restaurants and conference areas).
  • Manage travel arrangements for facilitators and assist with participant logistics.
  • Prepare classrooms and training rooms. Manage training calendar, 360 process and experience for leaders in the company.
  • Create and review training materials, such as instructional notes and feedback forms
  • Prepare reports on training activities and results.
  • Help vendors and participants interact with each other and troubleshoot issues that arise.
  • Ensure that all training activities comply with established policies and best practices.

Other Job Responsibilities:

  • Other duties as assigned by management.
  • Maintains employee confidence and protects company assets, including intellectual property, by keeping information confidential.
  • Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional associations.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results, as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Two (2) years minimum training and development or administration experience.
  • Demonstrated success in project management including programs and systems with administrative and organizational skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, officials, and the public.
  • Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities without close supervision.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication skills and presentation skills
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds for various classroom needs.
  • Proficiency in the use and application of the following software:
    • Required: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
    • Preferred: Learning Management System, E-learning course creation software such as iSpring, Camtasia Studio, MS Access

Education Requirements:

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year university or college with a degree in human resources, business administration, industrial psychology, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience.
