Job Summary The General Anesthesiologist will be responsible for patient care, resident training, daily administrative duties, and conducting quality assurance projects per the needs of the Anesthesiology Service throughout CCH covering services as John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital, Provident Hospital, and clinics/procedure areas where anesthesiology services are provided. The scope of these activities cover hospitalized patients and all phases of ambulatory care. The majority of the Anesthesiologist's time will be devoted to patient care. Administrative duties and quality assurance activities will be offered based on the needs of the department. Typical Duties
