Job Description

Join the team making EVs go farther, artificial intelligence more efficient, and industrial systems smarter! We work with cutting-edge automotive manufacturers, industrial giants, and alternative energy pioneers. As a Systems Engineer Intern, you will have the opportunity to learn and vain valuable experience working on a team with critical roles at every stage of product development, from defining new products to validating them against market and design requirements, and ultimately promoting them through thought leadership.

Responsibilities



  • Develop automated hardware and software to validate new products against design and market requirements.
  • Perform PCB schematic capture and assist with layout and assembly.
  • Develop and debug software and firmware.
  • Oversee and administer automated bench testing and characterization of new products.
  • Analyze and visualize measurement data.


Required Experience and Skills



  • Working towards a bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience with schematic capture and PCB design tools.
  • Analog and digital circuit analysis skills.
  • Experience with programming or scripting languages (C, Python, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of electrical circuit fundamentals.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex systems (hardware and software)
  • Familiarity with electronics lab equipment (oscilloscope, function generator, power supply, etc.)

The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
