Evanston, IllinoisAdd to Favorite Jobs Email this Job Department: MCC Civil & Environmental Engg The Aristilde Research Group is seeking motivated candidates to apply for research technician positions to investigate environmental organic processes important to carbon and nutrient cycling in the environment. The research technician will be involved in projects on organic matter characterization, mineral-organic interactions, minerals as catalysts for organic matter transformation. The applicant is expected to have prior laboratory experience in water/aquatic chemistry, chemistry, materials science, or geochemistry/soil chemistry. The applicant should be proficient in following appropriate protocols, policies, procedures, regulations, and good laboratory practices. Chemistry, biochemistry, geoscience, earth science, soil science majors are encouraged to apply. This is a one-year termed position subject to renewal for up to two years depending on performance and available funding Specific Responsibilities:

Target hiring range for this position will be between $19.89 - $27.97 per hour. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
