What you'll gain: As a Supplier Quality Intern, you will gain valuable knowledge and hands-on experience in the field of supplier quality management through real-world activities, coaching, and project involvement. This internship will offer you a comprehensive understanding of supplier quality processes, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration. This internship is an excellent opportunity for those interested in building a career in supplier quality management, offering exposure to key quality processes, supplier relationships, and cross-functional teamwork. Key learning opportunities include: Supplier Audits and Evaluations: Assisting with conducting supplier audits, evaluating quality performance, and supporting the implementation of corrective actions. Quality Metrics Monitoring: Tracking and analyzing key supplier quality metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and helping drive continuous improvement initiatives. Non-Conformance Management: Supporting the investigation of supplier-related non-conformances, ensuring timely resolution, and collaborating on preventative measures to improve product quality. Supplier Communication and Support: Acting as a point of contact between internal teams and suppliers, addressing quality concerns, and ensuring alignment on quality standards and requirements. Process Improvement: Participating in process improvement projects aimed at optimizing supplier quality performance and reducing defects or delays in the supply chain. Data Collection and Analysis: Gathering and analyzing supplier quality data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for enhanced supplier performance. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working with internal teams such as supply chain, procurement, and engineering to ensure seamless integration of supplier quality efforts into overall business operations. What you need to be successful: Education: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, in a field related to the internship Minimum GPA requirement of a 3.0 Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Analytical and problem-solving abilities. Basic project management or organizational skills. Personal Attributes: Strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Willingness to learn and take initiative. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks. Positive attitude and adaptability to new challenges.
