About the Role

We are looking for a CADD Operator to join our Transportation team in Oregon/Idaho supporting CADD detail and design for Bridge & Structures projects across the company. You will report to a CADD Professional or Bridge Engineer.

You Will Focus On:

  • Drafting and Detailing: Creating detailed drawings and plans using CADD software (such as Civil 3D or MicroStation) based on specifications provided by engineers and designers.
  • Bridge Design Support: Assisting engineers in developing structural designs for bridges, culverts, water facilities and other infrastructure projects.
  • Collaboration: Work with engineers, planners, and other team members to understand project requirements, resolve design issues and maintain documentation related to changes.

You Have:

  • Education and Experience: An associates degree in technical drafting, or a related field or equivalent experience. 2+ years of drafting or detailing within a civil engineering environment.
  • Proficiency in CADD Software: Experience in Civil 3D or MicroStation.
  • Knowledge of Civil and Structural Design: Understanding of civil engineering principles, with an emphasis on those related to bridge and structural design.

Compensation Information: Hourly rate for this position is $30-$40 depending on qualifications.

Compensation is determined by factors such as education, experience, location, and role. As employee-owners, we are eligible for performance-based bonuses and our salaries are reviewed annually. We value transparency and look forward to discussing our compensation structure.
