JOB SUMMARY: The Point of Care (POC) Specialist role is to identify POC opportunities within Henry Schein accounts and grow sales in this category. This is to be achieved through independent account calls as well as working with all Sales Team Members in the territory of responsibility. The Point of Care Specialist is to achieve annual sales and GP goals established by the Sr. Director of Laboratory Services. The POC Specialist will report to the Lab Sales Manager and will assist with driving the Henry Schein corporate directives and strategies established with our vendor partners in this space. The Point of Care Specialist will also act as lead generation for the Clinical Lab Specialist (CLS) when a larger lab opportunity is identified. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Physical Activities: This position requires extensive travel within the designated territory. (Minimum 50% travel is not unusual) This position will be working in a home office environment, utilizing typical office equipment. The territory for this position covers the following area: Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee. Experience: The posted range for this position is $75,000 - $95,000, which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including education, prior experience, training, current skills, certifications, location/labor market, internal equity, etc. This position is eligible for a bonus not reflected in the posted range.
